Testimonials

1.6.23
Testimonial from Chiti P. and Bill K.

We used the Gottlieb Team to sell our last apartment and buy our current one. Both experiences were smooth, efficient and thorough from start to finish. Particularly when it came time for the negotiating part, they smartly managed the process — maximizing our expectations — and provided a calming presence when we needed it. Their professionalism, punctuality and persistence set them apart in the real estate market. If we move again, they’ll be our first call.

9.6.22
Testimonial from Billy J.

Efficient, thorough and easy to work with!

At our initial meeting, the Gottlieb Team came prepared to get us up and running right away. We landed on a list price based on the package of comparable Greenwich Village properties they compiled and quickly got my apartment photographed and listed.

The photography captured the best parts of my apartment and even helped land a featured spot in the New York Times real estate section.

They held multiple open houses and appointments which they seamlessly scheduled, even while I had a tenant living in the apartment. In the end, we got 98% of the original list price as an all cash offer and were able to close under a month after my tenant’s lease ended. I felt supported through the process and would definitely recommend working with this team.

10.12.21
Testimonial from Jodi Z. and Michael M.

We LOVED working with Steve and June – they are a power team! They listened to us and asked all the right questions to figure out what we needed, wanted, and wished for, and then worked tirelessly to help us find it. They were patient, professional and kind, but also clear and insightful advisors who clearly knew their stuff. Together they are a negotiating powerhouse, thinking creatively and figuring out how to get us what we wanted at the right price. We found the perfect apartment for us because of all their hard work. We have found our brokers for life!

3.9.21
Testimonial from Arlene H.

Not only did June Gottlieb represent me in the purchase of my apartment on Sutton Place South, but 20 years later I hired her to sell it for me. The experience was seamless, the expertise with which June and Steve handled all aspects of the sale were wonderful, and I would recommend The Gottlieb Team to one and all as the best realty team there is!

5.14.19
Testimonial from Alvaro M.

Great sales people are developed and honed. I saw how June and Steve handled the sale of my apartment and I remember thinking: “They’re good. They’re really, really good.”

My grown sons affectionately called June “Dad’s real estate sergeant” based on the detailed set of instructions left for them whenever they stayed in their childhood home while visiting NYC during the active marketing phase of the property.  I recall a four-page document with hundreds of DOs and DON’Ts, one most memorably stating “No. 178. ABSOLUTELY no cooking of any fish or seafood in the apartment during your stay. If you get hungry for fish, make a reservation at Le Bernardin.”

I knew I made the right decision in June and Steve when choosing which brokers to sell my home. Their attention to detail is the fruit of years of experience – the kind of learning you take away from every mistake and success. And, regardless of annual changes in ranks of real estate brokers, they are in my heart the NUMERO UNO realtors in the entire city of New York.

They worked tirelessly to get where they are and I’m proud to count them as not just my realtors, but also my friends.
