Analytical and persistent, Nicolas Paredes employs a meticulous, boots-on-the-ground approach to understanding the city's neighborhoods. "Starting with the opinions and outlooks of residents in each neighborhood is one of the most effective ways to get a grasp of where the market may go,- he says. With market trends and international economies at the forefront of his focus, Nicolas rounds out his knowledge by attending industry conferences and neighborhood board meetings. A thoughtful and driven advocate for his clients, Nicolas is both intuitive and sensitive, yet assertive when the situation arises. Various threads in Nicolas Paredes’ life have naturally led him to a career in real estate. Piquing his interest in the industry early on, Nicolas often accompanied his father, a Los Angeles-based residential contractor, to open houses and work sites. As a film producer and arts event organizer during his time at NYU, Nicolas bolstered his skills in logistical management, problem-solving and fulfilling client demands. His interest in the New York real estate market led him to assist a number of friends score apartment deals below market value, eventually leading to his decision to enter full-force. -I love people, and I love learning about my clients' backgrounds and what led them to this city," he says. "My only agenda is to heighten client satisfaction." Originally from El Segundo, California, Nicolas now lives in Williamsburg, which he enjoys for its youthful energy and eclectic mixture of historic warehouses and striking new developments. In his free time, Nicolas enjoys going to museums, venturing outside of the city, and managing his NYC history-based Instagram account (@Nicosellsny).
