Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Licensed As: Amanda Jhones
Amanda started her real estate career in 1997 with a leading NYC Real Estate brokerage, making history in 2002 by becoming the first Black Vice President in their 100-year history. Shortly, she became Senior VP before REBNY dismantled the titles. Amanda is thrilled to bring her experience and expertise to Coldwell Banker Warburg as a real estate professional.

A true testament to Amanda's brilliant record as a real estate professional is her substantial success and recognition throughout the real estate community for her two-decade career. Amanda lends valuable insight from every deal angle, drawing on her experience with celebrity clients, empty nesters, and international first-time homebuyers—whether buying, selling, investing, or working with new developers.

Amanda's clients consistently turn to her for comprehensive knowledge and guidance. When it comes to first-time buyers, she has a hands-on approach, ensuring her clients have made the right decision. "I know how unnerving it can be for first-time home buyers. It is a hand-holding process," she says when talking about her level of involvement with her clients.

Over the years, Amanda has been personally selected by numerous real estate developers to guide them from concept to completion of multimillion-dollar projects. Amanda's first development was successfully sold within nine months, located at 109th and Madison Ave in East Harlem. Amanda quickly gained the reputation of being the go-to agent in the growth of the Harlem market. One developer was so pleased with her manner of professionalism that he named his development "The Amanda" Condominium in Central Harlem in her honor. She sat alongside world-renowned architect Mr. Kaufman at the request of the developer to work on a new development project on East 131-132nd Street. Amanda asked the developer if she could name the project, and he agreed, and she called it the "Style." As her new development expertise evolved, she was hand-selected by private developers Manocherian and Martucci to work with them to develop two Condominium buildings on East 117th Street.

Frequently quoted in notable publications such as The New Yorker, Brokers Weekly, New York Observer, The Real Deal, CNN Money.com, New York Post and the New York Times, Amanda is the "go-to" expert for the residential real estate market across many neighborhoods. Local and international investors continuously look to Amanda and her team to optimize their investment portfolios. From townhouses in some of New York's most exclusive neighborhoods to Downtown Manhattan and the outer boroughs, no one knows how to navigate the New York market and its key players like Amanda Jhones.

Testimonial of Dr. Khizr Azim

“I am writing this review after having truly been impressed and completely satisfied by all the assistance I have been offered and received throughout the renting process of my property. Having Amanda Jhones representing me in my real estate matters meant having a very knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely professional real estate agent who acted as a surrogate in these dealings as I was physically unable to be present. Real estate matters and dealings can be inherently hectic, however, I was always left with the feeling that my interests were looked after extremely well. Amanda has always been approachable and responsive, despite these troubled times we are in. Furthermore, Amanda has great insight into the local real estate market which has helped in educating me along the way. Most of all, with Amanda there was very quickly a familiarity and ease of conversation almost as if I had known her for quite a bit longer than I have! I have no hesitation in recommending and endorsing Amanda for the great work she has done and for the work she continues to do.  I absolutely plan to work with her again in the future.”

Testimonial of Annie L.

“In a 1991 New York Times interview, photographer Annie Leibovitz described her Upper East Side apartment as “just a book room and a couch room.” Well, yes … but the bookshelves reach up to fourteen-foot ceilings, and the views from that sofa skim the treetops of Central Park. Though the Times didn’t specify the address, she was likely referring to this condo on upper Fifth Avenue, which has gone through two owners since Leibovitz sold it in 1992. The apartment has been heavily modified since—it was joined with apartment 3E next door, and in fact that smaller apartment is for sale separately or with this one—but its basic appeal is unchanged: six windows fronting Fifth Avenue, about a mile of glowing hardwood floors, and a mezzanine from which to survey it all.”
