This month we focus on the East Village’s performance through 2018 compared to the currently available inventory in the neighborhood. Read on for more!
PRICE SEGMENT PERFORMANCE
Thus far, through 2018, there have been 194 closed sales transactions in the East Village. Of these, over 36% were priced below $1 million, 53% priced between $1 – $3 million, 11% priced between $3 – $8 million, and 1% priced above $8 million. The RLS reports 41 currently active listings on the market, of which 37% are listed below $1 million, 39% are listed between $1 – $3 million, 18% are listed between $3 – $8 million, 4% are listed between $8-$12 million, and 2% listed above $12 million.
PRICE TYPE PERFORMANCE
The median asking price for condos currently on the market is $1.95 million and $850,000 for co-ops versus $8 million for townhouses.
The median closed sales price in 2018 to-date is $2.01 million for condos, $755,000 for co-ops versus $6.95 million for townhouses.
