Licensed Real Estate Salesperson | Luxury Property SpecialistChristopher Totaro’s extensive career, spanning four decades, provides him with the network to bring people together as an effective real estate agent.
Totaro is an accomplished artist, endurance cyclist, and serial entrepreneur. Friends and colleagues alike describe him to be a people-first, respected leader with an outgoing, dedicated spirit for building successful teams.
Totaro moved to Manhattan in 2002 after living in Colorado where he raced bicycles competitively at a national level. His management career was founded in Colorado where he ran large restaurants with a focus on increasing sales and profitability. As his art career gained momentum, he shifted to a fulltime artist, with exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad. His work is held in numerous private collections.
Upon his arrival in Manhattan, he founded a high-end paint contracting company that grew into a fully integrated construction company, specializing in renovating lofts. Ultimately, his construction company shifted focus and relocated to East Hampton where he began purchasing and redeveloping investment properties.
Returning full-time to his home in TriBeCa in 2013, Totaro transitioned into Manhattan real estate where he has built and enjoyed a very successful career as an agent. In addition to residential sales, he also collaborates with developers to acquire development sites.
Totaro is a co-op owner in TriBeCa and served on the board of his building. He has strong ties to his community. He serves across multiple volunteer roles, the past two years as PTA President at PS 150, the TriBeCa Learning Center, and has also been a committed board member for six years. He serves on the school’s leadership team where he contributes to the development of the school’s curriculum. He is a longtime volunteer and supporter of the Taste of TriBeCa, and he also coaches multiple youth sports teams. (He doesn’t sleep much during his personal time outside of the office!).
